Dr. Ray Williams has been an adjunct member of the GMU faculty since 2008 and was a guest lecturer for several years before that. He holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Mary Washington College and a Master Degree in Computer Science from Marymount University. He is employed as a Chief Systems Engineer with SAIC in Chantilly, Va where he supports government customers in cloud computing initiatives, telecommunications, satellite communications and numerous specialty engineering disciplines. He is also an experienced proposal manager and leverages that knowledge as part of classes that he teaches to help students become more marketable. He is married to his wife Catherine and they have three grandchildren that they are always happy to talk about, and he is passionate about sailing and cycling.
